One particular Beachbody fitness program came into my life a little over a year ago and dramatically changed it forever. I'd like to tell you a quick story about my experience with this program, and how I turned my new found love of fitness into a growing business. The Infomercial That Changed My Life... In March 2007, I had just turned on the TV early one Saturday morning in search of a Scooby Doo cartoon for my daughter. As I was flipping through the channels, I came across Beachbody's P90X infomercial. For those of you not familiar with P90X, it is Beachbody's 12 DVD 'Extreme Home Workout' program featuring celebrity trainer, Tony Horton. Here's a quick clip of P90X in action... I was immediately mesmerized with the infomercial. It was the first fitness infomercial I had EVER seen that had no gimmick. There were no silly ab machines....electronic wires you attach to your stomach....no B.S., period. It was an intense and heavy duty workout that required extreme dedication for 90 days. At 37 years of age, I knew my health and fitness were in dire need of a major overhaul. Something in the infomercial just spoke to me...I can't explain it. I told my wife, "This Tony Horton guy is the real deal. Let's do this!". In 90 days, I transformed my body in ways I couldn't believe. After only a few weeks into the P90X workout program, I was HOOKED! At that time, I made the decision to enroll into Beachbody's Independent Coaching program. This program is really just as exciting as the P90X workouts! I get paid to lead a healthy & fit lifestyle while helping and encouraging others to do the same. I have NEVER been involved with a company that I truly believe in more than Beachbody. That's the honest truth folks. P90X has become much more to me than a workout routine, but rather a new way of life. The coaching opportunity has given me the chance to secure my family's financial future. Before I go any further, I have to tell you about a guy named Mike French. Mike was responsible for helping me achieve my P90X results. I met Mike on the Beachbody messageboards in May of 2007. Mike coached me through my 90 days and was the one who introduced the coaching program to me. Mike's own personal results with P90X are what inspired me and made me believe that I too could get 'ripped in 90 days'. Below are Mike's P90X transformation photos. Beachbody's Coaching Program: The Opportunity Of A Lifetime I hate clichés like "opportunity of a lifetime" or "ground floor opportunity", but that's exactly what this opportunity is. Independent Beachbody Coaches are paid commissions for sales of Beachbody workouts, supplements, equipment, and "Club Memberships". In addition, Beachbody is a network marketing / multi level marketing company. That means that as a coach, you also earn commissions from the team of coaches under you ( your "down line" coaches) through Beachbody's very generous points volume, or "PV", system. Beachbody's Customer Lead Program Here's what separates Beachbody from every other multi level marketing / network marketing company (besides the fact that their workouts and supplements are world class and dominate the marketplace!) ...Beachbody will help you grow your coaching business by GIVING you customers! YES, you read that correctly! Beachbody spends over 70 million dollars a year running their infomercials on TV and bring in approximately 15,000-30,000 paying customers each week. Whenever a customer purchases a workout program through phone or the internet, Beachbody automatically assigns them a coach (at "Emerald" level or higher- I'll tell you more about coaching ranks in a bit). When the customer makes a future purchase with Beachbody, the coach earns 25% of the order. If the customer signs up for the Team Beachbody Club quarterly membership (which is an incredible value at $39 every 3 months), the coach earns 50%. You should be starting to get a little excited at this point, but I haven't even told you the best part! When a customer makes a purchase, Beachbody will make a few additional offers (believe me, Beachbody is the king of the "up sell'!). Beachbody will first offer them a free month in the Team Beachbody Club. The customer can cancel their membership at anytime in the first 30 days. If they don't cancel, they are re-billed the $38.86 quarterly fee. Each time the customer is re-billed, the coach gets paid half of the fee. These recurring commissions continue for as long as the customer remains a member of the Team Beachbody Club! After the customer is offered the free month in 'the Club', they are offered various monthly supplements. Beachbody has a 'home direct' program and auto-ships supplements such as vitamins, whey protein powder, post workout muscle recovery formula, meal replacements, protein bars, and many more. They will offer the customer a free months supply of a product, the vitamins for example. If the customer doesn't cancel the home direct order in the first 30 days, Beachbody will ship out the supplements each month to the customer. On each re-order, the coach earns 25% of the order. The Beachbody Coach Ranks & Qualifying For Beachbody's Customer Lead Program I won't go into too much detail here as I don't want to confuse anyone. There are basically 8 different Beachbody coach ranks- each with it's own level of compensation. The ranks are (from lowest to highest): Coach, Emerald Coach, Ruby Coach, Diamond Coach, Two Star Diamond Coach, Five Star Diamond Coach, Ten Star Diamond Coach, and Super Star Diamond Coach. Each level offers higher payouts and additional ways to generate commissions. The Emerald (2nd level) is where the fun REALLY starts. At this point, you will have sponsored two qualifying coaches and will be ready to take advantage of Beachbody's Customer Lead Program (Emerald and higher coaches are eligible). As I talked about previously, this is an incredible and revolutionary program where Beachbody will actually supply you with clients. Currently, Emerald and higher coaches are each averaging approximately 75-100 new clients a month through the Customer Lead Program. Keep in mind that this is just the current average and is subject to change. So what does it mean to qualify? It's easy. First, in order to get the free leads, you must be a member of the Team Beachbody Club. Second, you and your two coach's must be 'active'. That means all of you have generated 50 points volume (PV's) each for the month. Most people can do this with their eyes closed! For example, if a coach purchases their own supplements, this normally gives them the points they need for the month (basically, 50 PV is equal to $50 in sales). Finally, you must use Beachbody's online gym (Called WOWY- short for "Work Out With You") 8 times in the previous 30 days. This is a free service that I have found very useful and will show the community that you are a coach and committed to your own fitness as well as helping others. "The Money Is In The List" I started marketing products on the internet back in 2002. One thing I learned very quickly was just how important it was to develop an 'opt in' email list. Having a list of targeted potential customers is the lifeblood of any internet business. All of the internet marketing gurus will tell you the same thing...'The Money Is In The List!'. Not only does Beachbody find customers/clients for coaches (Emerald level and higher coaches), but they will also build your list for you with their state of the art 'coach back office' software. You are able to send e-cards, make announcements, offer help, etc...to your clients. Do you know of any other network marketing/multi level marketing company that does this? Not only do they help you build your own list, but Beachbody continually markets to your list of customers for you! Each week, Beachbody will send out emails to your customers telling them about fitness tips, special offers, new workout programs, success stories, etc. When your customers log into the Team Beachbody store and make a purchase, you earn commissions! So, now you have customers....that were given to you....and sales, from marketing efforts that were performed for you? A match made in heaven! ;-) "So How Much Money Do Coaches Make?"
